For the previous 25 years they had been well represented by David Brown Gear Industries who enjoyed a majority market position for screw jacks in Australia. Through international changes in the David Brown Group, and their acquisition by the USA giant Textron, it appeared that Duff Norton products did not find a home in their new marketing strategy.
It was an opportunity for Ron Warman, who previously headed up David Brown's standard products division, to set up a new company specialising in the extensive Duff Norton USA product range while continuing to improve on service to their existing customer base throughout Australia.
From a modest begining and product knowledge DN Sales Australia have accumulated a sound customer base far beyond that which Duff Norton enjoyed 10 years ago. A whole new range of customers in a variety of industries has emerged as advocates, not only for the Duff Norton product, but very importantly for the quality service DN Sales Australia strives to improve at every opportunity.
