Duff-Norton Modular Actuators
Duff Norton modular actuators are made for a variety of applications. They are custom made by matching standard actuators with electric, air, hydraulic or explosion proof drive units.
Duff Norton translating tube machine screw models feature a traveling lift nut which allows precise load positioning. Translating tube actuators are used when environmental contamination is anticipated as they have an enclosed lifting screw and translating tube. For use in locations relatively free of dust, dirt and moisture.
Optional limit switches and transducers are available on the translating tube machine screw modular actuator.
Digital Position Indicator
The Digital Position Indicator processes a feedback signal from the potentiometer to provide position readout. The indicator automatically scales the input signal to provide linear readout over the full travel length.
Digital Position Indicators:
- Self scaling by inputting minimum and maximum readings – either by key stroke or input signal.
- Two adjustable up / down limits with 0 to +/- 99999.
- Accepts 1K to 10K potentiometer inputs.
- Programmable decimal point location.
- Input power requirement from 85 – 250 VAC.
- Programmable front panel functions.
- For use with 2 through 150 ton machine or ball screw actuators.
